Theme for the month: Exploring the Water World
There are millions of animal species on the earth, therefore, it is important to be able to identify them and understand their habitats and characteristics so that we can co-exist with each other.
This month, we shall discover yet another exciting theme ‘Exploring the Water World’. The oceans are full of life, from unicellular creatures to the mighty blue whale. The variety of life in the ocean is incredible. In this theme your child will learn about the names of the four major oceans, the amount of land in the world in relation to the amount of water. He or she will also learn about different sea creatures like starfish, seahorse, jellyfish, and octopus. He or she will learn about the adaptations that help them to survive, reproduce, smell, escape predators and their way of communication.
The focus will also be on conservation management by creating awareness in your child about how our actions may affect the animals that live there.
