Important Information For Academic Session 2016-17 (Welcome to Grade I)

Welcome to Grade I

Dear Parents, 

As the academic year draws to a close, we look back at fond memories and also plan ahead for more exciting times as the students embark upon new journeys in the year to come.

Following are a few details to help you plan ahead for the next academic session:

  • School Reopens for Grades 1 to 10 on Monday, 13th June 2016. The timing for the academic year 2016-17 will be from 8:00 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Students should report to school in complete school uniform, ID card and carry the entire stationery kit (labeled) on the first day of school. Kindly ensure your ward wears a temporary identity card till he/ she receives a permanent I-card. The card must contain a passport size photograph of the child, full name, blood group, address and parent’s phone number.

  • Parents are requested to drop their wards to school on the first day.

  • For the students who have enrolled for the Bus service, the buses will be available only at the time of dispersal on Monday, 13th June at 3:15 p.m. If you are availing the bus for the first time, you are requested to accompany your ward in the bus on the first day to determine the pickup and drop off points.

  • Snacks will be served to the students.

  • A Parent Orientation for the parents of Grade 1 will be held on Thursday, 9th June 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am to guide parents of the changes in systems and functioning of the school. Please note that the parent orientation for the other grades are not scheduled, as there is no change of system in their functioning. However the school will be conducting a grade specific curriculum morning in the month July.  

  • Stationery distribution for the students of the Primary and Secondary sections will be on Wednesday, 1st June 2016 between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Stationery Kit includes the textbooks, notebooks and stationery items. You may collect the school uniform and P. E. attire for the next academic year on Wednesday, 1st June, between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  

  • The specific footwear is the black Reebok Racer shoes. The vendor will be available in school on Wednesday, 1st June 2016 between 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • Students availing of the transport facility should ensure that they have enrolled for the same by Wednesday, 1st June 2016.

Kindly inform the school office of any change in address or phone number and for any further queries kindly contact the school office from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
