Independence Day Celebration – Grades 1 to 10

Dear Parents,

Independence Day is a day of great pride for all Indians as this is the day we remember the brave hearts who fought against foreign rule so that we can enjoy our freedom.

To celebrate this auspicious day, the school will be hosting “Hear My Voice” – A solo singing competition for the students of Grades 5 to 10. Kindly note the details of the day:

Elimination Round – ‘Hear Me Out’

Monday, 13th August 2018

Final Round – ‘Hear Me Out’

Wednesday, 15th August 2018

Time Limit

2-3 minutes

Judging Criteria

Vocals, Pitch, Rhythm & Diction, Expression & Showmanship, Overall Impact

Language

English or Hindi or Marathi or French

[The song should be age appropriate]

Reporting Time

7:45 am

Dispersal Time

9:30 am

Students must report to school in school uniform. Snacks will be provided.

Grades 1 to 4 will celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, 14th August, 2018.
