Universal’s out-of-school learning programme is designed to promote discovery, learning, fun & healthy lifestyles in a non-school but safe and stimulating environment. Out-of-school learning takes place in a variety of different settings – from museums to aquariums, from socially-relevant work to study clubs and from art galleries to factories.
Pre-primary learners venture out into South Mumbai as they learn in the context of field trips. Primary learners have opportunities to travel farther afield in and around Mumbai. Senior learners will make visits nationally and internationally – to destinations that complement what has been learnt in class and give students with much-needed hands-on exposure.
We have also introduced the concept of virtual trips using online services such as Google Street View & Google Earth.
